I really, really wanted to give this book 4 stars. Actually kept me guessing a little bit, but in the end was able to predict the outcome. True rating would be 1.

The plot is designed really well, showing how many funrrali are involved in pulling off an act as big as Fleur’s. The was the first one of the Madeleine Wickham books that I read as soon as I finsihed it I purchased the rest of the books and couldn’t wait to read them.

The thing is that i was really interested int he story and the characters of this novel. Unfortunately, she failed to explore the full potential of expanding those intriguing characters. Everything that Madeleine Wickham seems to lack. There are no discussion topics on this book yet.

La signora dei funerali Madeleine Wickham. Thinking it was going to be light and fluffy, I was mildly surprised to find how well thought-out the story was. Oh my God, are you serious? I quite liked the character of Fleur I thought that she was very intriguing as to how she managed to worm her way into these mens lives. It wasn’t particularly funny either. He didn’t seem to want her around at all. The premise of this book, the plot, seemed very interesting, original even. Parts of the book I really enjoyed and other parts were just ok.

A bubble of laughter was still at the back of her throat. Our story starts with her last few days with Sakis.
