Curriculum written by Ed Roscetti. A variety of loop concepts are discussed and the accompanying CD is used for listening analysis. Focus is on increasing the rhythmic vocabulary in an energetic, interactive, and supportive environment. All levels of attendees are able to participate in this process and increase their rhythmic awareness and rosvetti. This clinic is geared towards schools, universities, music stores, music camps and corporate events.

Custom workshops are fun, educational rd therapeutic sessions that will teach participants how to play and interact rhythmically on a variety of hand drums and hand percussion instruments. Curriculum is provided to each attendee. This shared experience facilitates enhanced communication, listening skills and relieves stress with the timeless healing power of rhythm. These workshops establish a system, giving managers creative, innovative tools to unify and focus their staff and department.
Objectives The first concept, The Rhythmic Guide, is a breakdown of rhythms that can be applied to any given rhythmic subdivision in any meter. All instruments are provided on site. Participants then join the ensemble on stage to experience playing the percussion score as a leader cues the breaks, dynamics, and trading of fours and vocal phrases within the ensemble.
This interactive workshop is designed for music majors at the university level or those who have a working facility with sight reading. Rhythms are run down the Five Steps and demonstrated in a variety of styles Funk, Hip-Hop, Rock, Jazz and World Beat grooves on drum set and hand drums followed by interactive attendee participation from their seats. Workshops can be tailored to explore one region of your choice, breaking down in depth its music, ensemble structures, and compositional practices.
